The structural portion consisted of the entire removal and reconstruction of the interior of the field house. New precast concrete seating planks were installed on steel beams supported by concrete columns on an updated foundation. The renovation also included a three story addition to the fieldhouse adjacent to Washington-Grizzly Stadium. The project was completed in 1999 at a cost of $15 Million.
