This position could be located at our Kalispell, Bozeman, or Missoula office depending on current needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform structural design calculations for new and existing buildings
- Assist in preparation of structural drawings and specifications
- Observe construction work in progress
- Assist in preparation of reports
Qualifications should include:
- 2-4 years of experience in structural engineering of buildings
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering required, Masters in Structural Engineering strongly preferred
- Experience in structural analysis and design including wood, steel, concrete, and masonry design
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering exam
- EIT/EI license or ability to achieve within 6 months of hire.
