Operates the current versions of Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit, and Bentley Microstation to create, update, and modify plans to assist engineers in project document production.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform CAD drafting in an efficient manner utilizing BCE’s standards to produce the highest quality construction documents possible
- Communicate with project engineers/managers, and clients in a professional manner regarding project specific questions and scheduling
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BCE’s CAD software packages
- Develop a deeper understanding of structural engineering as it relates to project delivery
Qualifications should include:
- Associate’s degree or completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting, or related field
- At least two years of related work experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
