Main Hall – University of Montana

Design Team: A&E Architects
UM Planning & Construction
Completion Date: 2012

The 110 year old Main Hall at the University of Montana is the most recognized and historically significant building on campus. The tower structure, however, is very susceptible to seismic forces. BCE strengthened the tower with steel trusses inside the structure, and the upgraded the roof for wind and seismic forces to ensure that Main Hall will be stable and strong for another 100 years.
