Hapner Hall – Montana State University

Design Team: Mosaic Architecture
Owner: MSU Planning, Design, & Construction
Completion Date: August 2012

The Hapner Hall Addition & Renovation consisted of the removal of a top heavy concrete canopy from the original 1960s construction to make room for a new front entry, student lounge, and front desk area. The addition was framed with steel construction and utilized steel cantilevered columns at the edge of the roof overhang as the seismic resisting system, allowing for large windows at the front entry and lounge area.
