PROJECT ENGINEER : BOZEMAN
John’s high school physics teacher drove him to engineering — literally. His class took field trips to analyze bridges, which later inspired him to earn an engineering degree from Montana State University. A few days after graduating in 2005, he joined BCE in the Bozeman branch office, and he has since worked on projects ranging from single-family residences to multi-story commercial buildings. John’s strong suits are steel, concrete, and CMU, but he also knows his way around wood and timber. In the summer John spends his evenings paddling through whitewater and in the winter he searches out telemark-worthy terrain. Year-round, he keeps busy chasing two young kids and his golden retriever, Yaku.
