Audrey Bentz

Audrey grew up in southwest Montana where she first learned about the civil engineering field. After obtaining her engineering degrees- a BSCE from the University of Dayton and PhD from the University of Notre Dame- Audrey headed west to Seattle, where she worked as a design engineer for over three years before deciding to trade city life for Montana life. She joined BCE in 2016 where she has worked on a variety of projects including timber, wood, and masonry design as well as steel and reinforced concrete design. Her favorite topics include lateral building dynamics, seismic analysis and design, and reinforced concrete systems. She loves living so close to the mountains (nature’s skyscrapers!) where there are an abundance of adventures in every direction. Among other things, she enjoys skiing, hiking, and climbing.
